I might have in one of my networking class, I don;t really remember all the linux distro.

Plus if I did I didn't really gave a fair shot.

So count this as no, I only heard the name.


Btw I'ts looking more likely I do a blog, like I just did the categorises and links, next would be the about page then the layout, after i might actually be ready to use it.

If it happens, the blog is going to be about exhaustive views on video game in general and their engineering (so I can post both exhaustive opinions and glitch related or glitch hunting related stuff).

My categories are simple so far, I have a parent categories called video games where i post anything that isn't a review or about games engineering. On that category, I have 2 child one, one for reviews and one about video game engineering (stuff like glitches that interests me, the one I found or just generally talking about stuff that interests about mechanics and such (like what does it take for a game to be promising when glitch hunting).

I think I may add more as I see fit, but it;s really basic so far because I haven;t even started yet.

For pages, I MIGHT add an FAQ, but for now, only a well explained abotu page of me will be fine. For links, I just put my social media stuff so yt, tweeter and twitch (btw I stopped to stream lately because of dolphin not wanting to update its graphics, maybe it would be fixed once I upgrade my distro or get dolphin 5.0 when it comes out).

The theme is the simplest theme I could find with possibility for a dark background and fortunately, I was able to put a greenish foreground color

I feel I don;t want to do periodic, I don't like to be on schedule for this so it;s goign to be mostly I would post when i feel like it (this means it might get inactive for some weeks, but I do play games a lot so).

So yeah, one thign for sure: if this happens, thsn is goign to cut a lot of my sb activity, maybe to the point where I am rarely active.

Ah, alright. I'll give OpenSUSE a whirl then.

And I'll be looking forward to the blog too.

So, how many more years until Social Thread 7.0?

I thought we would reach 7.0 in April, but at this rate, I think June is a good estimate.

looking back, I really love Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, Sumo Digital did an outstanding job with that game. even with its flaws (unfortunate cuts, the fact that Mario Kart 8 killed the Wii U online server population, and those Traffic Missions which can go eat a 32X) it is enjoyable all the way through, it's a huge SEGA love-letter, and the missions greatly reward skill and persistence. in other words, it's a 9/10 game...maybe even a 10/10. now if only I was able to get the Steam version...

but yeah, this game is deserving of a third entry.

I actually got it as one of my first Wii U games, and I had nothing but trouble with it... It crashed my Wii U entirely on multiple occasions, letting out a high-pitched screech and forcing me to manually unplug the console. Even without that, I was dealing with constant slowdowns that made playing through multiple races impossible, even offline.

If a third entry were to happen, I would like some of the scrapped characters to return (I need Billy in my life) and have some new faces. Aika, Sakura, Selvaria, Toejam & Earl, Akira, Ristar, Vectorman, Phantom R, Tembo, Silver, Billy Hatcher, and Mario would be my picks. I do have other ideas of newcomers, but can't really think of some good ones at the moment.

I don't have the front-hand experience to know this but the PC version may be a better experience for you, since for one thing it was released later so it probably won't be as buggy as the Wii U version. PC version also has exclusive characters.

And yeah my Wii U froze after a World Tour match, but it doesn't have too many problems with me.

I guess that would be great. Every console and handheld in the past has had software shortages in the first couple of months. Just look at the launch titles. It's all third party stuff, remakes (Super Mario 64 DS) or ports (Pilotwings Resort).

I think the DS had the longest lifespan with 8 years, from somewhere in 2004 until Black 2/White 2 in 2012 (when the 3DS was already out for a year!). No competition anymore as Sony went out of the handheld market too (they did, didn't they?). And the N3DS may have extended the lifespan of it as well.
Personally, I don't mind if I have to wait longer. I really like the 3DS, it has an amazing library.

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, the more games the system gets at launch, the better. And while the Vita is still in production, Shuhei Yoshida did say a successor wasn't likely because the current mobile and handheld climate is "unhealthy". He said that many people have mobile phones and that it's so "easy" to play games on them, adding that most of the games coming out to mobile devices are either free or free to play.

Then again, the only Metroid game I've played is Prime 1. I'm more interested in the characters and their... interesting variations, if my avatar means much. >.> I own multiple Metroid games(all 3 Primes, Hunters(I did play the demo a little), Other M, Fusion, and technically the original Metroid due to owning Fusion and Prime 1).

I have been recently trying to get Windows 95 to work under Dosbox-Daum for 3Dfx Voodoo support but setup keeps crashing up a BSOD everytime it tries to analyse for hardware... :/ I am going to try another version of Windows 95 and see if it work.

You've reminded me I should get to play the whole Prime Trilogy. I literally purchased it on the eShop a year ago but never got the chance to get a new Nunchuk as the ones I have no longer function. Getting one wasn't really much of a priority at the time.

Any new computer I get is getting wiped and I'm putting my copy of Windows 7 on it.
I would love to play around with Linux but windows stands as the best OS for gaming right now.

To be fair, Smashboards kinda ruined the notifications for me when I'm not active on here as much. Not to mention how busy I've been over the last few months with college and almost ready for the summer. Just need to see if I can find internship for the summer or fall. So yeah...I'm SO ready to graduate next year as it'll be my sixth year in college. Planning to take a break afterwards to figure out what I truly want to do.

I'm keeping win7 due to not liking some features in 10.

If Linux was a completely viable gaming platform I wouldn't use anything else. Great for development still.

Prime 2 did have some of the difficulty nerfed slightly in the port to Trilogy.

If I recall correctly, even one of the devs said they couldn't beat Spider Ball Guardian without resorting to using the debug menu.

This is probably more of a Melee thing, but we played Smash 4 as well. Anyways, last night was great. HungryBox came to Knoxville yesterday and we hosted a last-minute tournament just for him. He had a good time, and everyone else did, too.

So, anyone else keeping up with King of Fighter XIV? The final roster was leaked recently and to be honest... as far as veterans go, it's disappointing. No Yamazaki, no Raiden, no Shingo, most of the more interesting characters are cut in favor of newcomers. Now, so far, most of the newcomers seem really cool, like Nelson and Luolong, but still, where's my Yamazaki, Blue Mary and Raiden team?
