It has 10 minutes this way, I want to do a right click to see what happens lolThat happened to me on my backup laptop, but it got back to normal after a few minutes.
It was top of the line at the time.Thats really old for computers.
Now that's old.Really? I've had mine for over 5 years.
Sadly, I do not.Do you have a spare computer, by any chance? You could try it out using one.
I see. The upgrade offer is entirely optional, so you can keep using your current operating system (derp). Not just that, I don't want any of my games to not work whatsoever, performance to drop, etc.
When you spend over 2000 bucks to get a high-end gaming rig, you're going to be a bit apprehensive about installing a new OS on it.
It's not like you didn't like it though, right?banned for posting porn

I still have my 16-year-old Windows 98 desktop in my room, and it still runs just as well as it did when it was new (i.e. excruciatingly slow, by today's standards). It was amazing in 1999, though - like the future had come to my small house in the middle of nowhere. I still use it now and then, too, mainly because it's the only thing that can run my old PC games from the time. (I'm aware that VMs exist, but I like the nostalgia)It's strange how computers from the 80's or 90's could still work to this day but yet computers from today would only survive for roughly 3-5 years.
Thats the best conversation I have ever seenI think I found the most insane thing in my talking to myself thread:

I have some really cool memories using Windows 98 and Windows 95 in nursery school...I still have my 16-year-old Windows 98 desktop in my room, and it still runs just as well as it did when it was new (i.e. excruciatingly slow, by today's standards). Yeah, I know. I was poking a little fun is all.Look man you can never be too careful.
I've been having a tendency of virtualizing old operating systems every now and then, with mixed results. Mostly to explore the system itself and all that. I could go more in-depth about that. Maybe.I still have my 16-year-old Windows 98 desktop in my room, and it still runs just as well as it did when it was new (i.e. excruciatingly slow, by today's standards). What a coincidence. So do I.I get anxious if anybody gets near my rig with anything liquid lol.
I am 14 now. It was in ether in 2002, 2003 or 2004 so Windows XP was very new but they soon replaced the Windows 98 computer with a Macintosh with Mac OS 8 which i found was really cool but as i think about now... it was a very odd choice... I am pretty they did have a XP machine eventually.Man, that makes me feel oldWhen I was starting secondary school, all the computers in the school still ran 95 and 98. It wasn't until I was in second or third year that they updated to new XP machines.
