Might ask what's so good about Windows 10?

Want to know if it's worth the upgrade.

Is like 7 was to Vista and XP to ME

-Is more stable
-Great compatibility
-Polished concepts
-Mixing new (Cortana) and old (The Return of the Start Button) elements + multiple workspaces
-Edge is a true evolution and departure from IE

Even more so with the idea of having Windows "as a service". There won't be a Windows 11.

It took me three attempts for the Windows 10 update to actually install. Still prefer my Linux though. Or I would if HP didn't despise it with every fibre of their being, and screw up every attempt I make to reinstall it. Never buying a HP machine again.

It got rid of the remotely "annoying" features Windows 8 / 8.1 had, such as the Charms bar and full-screen Windows Store apps. Mandatory, automatic updates help make the OS a lot more secure than previous versions. There's Cortana (that is, if you want to be tracked ), and Microsoft Edge, which is a billion times better than all IE versions combined, just to name a few.

The Start menu is back, but everybody knows that.

I actually own 3 HP machines (two laptops, one being a backup, and a desktop). Works pretty well for the most part.

You can always try it out using the following:
- a backup laptop or desktop PC
- a virtual machine

It's definitely a great improvement over both 7 and 8.1, and this comes from someone who actually liked the latter.

HP feels like a double edged sword for me, sometimes their stuff work like a charm or plain fail hard
That's why I prefer Dell or Lenovo

So, the point was that I felt like I wanted some stuff in my life so I tried to root for paper mario in miiverse.

You might expect "but it;s miiverse, in seconds you'll get troll comments and ....intellectually questionable ones!".

Only at the beginning, but a guy was REALLY trying to prove he was a clone. He told a really weird one saying that he's a clone just because he has mario in his name.....he forgot ZSS exists

^he actually ignored it when I pointed it out and thought I was trolling Oh and he said that marth and roy were clone....well, they both feel different for me......

tbh, that was hilarious than another guy came that pretty much supported me and we had a really

moveset ideas conversation (seriously, it hate half of my post counts, really fun).

guy came and bring up overrepresentation and blah blah blah

then, another guy named paper mario with a copyight r (lol) and he did the best thing ever.

Yes, they do. Products aren't that bad to be honest. In fact, I have an HP laptop running Windows 10 right now and it works flawlessly. As with every single OEM, the only thing I dislike about their computers is bloatware.

The issue I have with my computer is that the BIOS of HP computers basically rejects any bootloader that isn't Windows', but Linux distributions require a non-Windows loader (such as GRUB). You can force it to work by messing about with the bootloader files, but the problem there is that that sort of thing is dangerous if it goes wrong, and it has to be redone with every single Windows update. So it just gets really annoying after the first few times.

Hopefully it works out this time. My backup PC upgraded just fine amidst some bugs here and there, but I expect that to be fixed with future updates.

I tried ubuntu and I really didn;t liked it, but when I tried mint.....

it;s just the very good part about ubuntu, but like I would want (and it has green has a theme ).

I actually was not able to decide to stay on Windows or mint so I had a long cycle of dual boot mint, uninstall, fix the freaking mbr (why windows?), wait, redo because of being a bit tired of windows......and it continues.

After the third time, I got to mint for good and left my windows with only 125 GB of space which I run using a vm in linux (it's annoying, but you can find a way to tell virtual box to use your actual hard drive partition instead of a virtual one).

But most of the time, wine does the job, I could literally glitch hunt TTYD and spm on wine because cheat engine works almost flawlessly on it.

i did upgraded my vm to windows 10 (it was a a pain btw).

So, I have the best of both worlds, linux with windows native support

Never did like that quest. If I'm not mistake, one could get stuck on it in a few places because of how glitchy Skyrim is. That, and my characters don't drink, so, it makes me sad there's a miscellaneous quest just stuck in my quest log that I can never complete :P
