Finally got around to getting Mario Maker and making my first course.

Yeah. All I had to do was remove the kit, and the files. It made my 2ds think there was no SD card inserted, and when I removed it, it knew. It was only because, with the proper codes, the files would change certain apps. Youtube, Smash 4 Smash 4 demo.. Just removing them would make it act normal.

After smashing my head on the desk trying to figure out how to get Hondew Berries in my Platinum Game I discovered that I can get them easily by exchanging shards in HeartGold (and I have lots of shards thanks to my habit of smashing every rock I find), time to harvest them and continue my EV rebalancing project.

Hmm, I see. If it bothers you, then it's best to exchange it for a non-defective copy.

Amiibo; Nintendo realizing that the secondary market for collectibles is real and that they want to gouge people's wallets almost as hard as Wizards of the Coast (hello Black Lotus).

wizards doesn't have the reserved list to make money for themselves but rather to not make the people who payed $1,400 for their black lotus don't suddenly have a card that's worth $300 instead of $1,400. If magic wanted to make money they would realese vintage masters as a paper set and charge $200 $250 per box because it would still be the most bought set in the history of magic by a lot even after they stop printing BFZ in a few months. that said a new set would only really hurt the value of unlimited black lotuses and even those wouldn't fall too much because the people who like to pimp out their decks will still buy them for absurd prices. The reserved list is the single thing I hate the most about magic and it's abolishment is one of the three (now two because new full art lands) things that I want to happen to magic in my life time.

At the same time though, I do enjoy Animal Crossing as a series, and HHD does like pretty fun as a whole...

Also went to buy moon cakes for Mid Autumn Festival. Bought a container with nutritional facts saying 20 servings per container. I thought it must be enough for me, a foreign exchange student, and 3 cousins. Brought it home and opened it. Turns out there's only 4 in there...even if I split them to 4 each, that's 16. I've been tricked to spend $15 on four moon cakes!!! ;_;
