I finally learnt how to make rainbow borders from anime screenshots. My avatar source material has suddenly increased considerably.

If only i known to put a transparent background on some image. Because having a white background feel kinda meh for me.

It's quite easy in GIMP.

You select the parts you don't need and erase them.

Looks cool. I also saw someone make a Metal Man stage recreation. This game has a lot of potential for this kind of stuff.

I can upload 20 stages now for Super Mario Maker so I added an updated slightly version of my first level Ike Run and made a Luigi's Mansion 3 level.

So do you have two similar Ike Run levels now, or did you delete the first one from the upload section?


For my next level, I'm trying to make 2 levels.
One is called: The Doctor is in!
And the other one has yet to be named, but it's going well.

Lastly, it's kinda sad that i don't finded image of the level of MMZ. I don't try it for SPM but really, a picture that show all the level of one stage would have been really helpful for me. But i guess i am going as the old methode : Draw all. Wish me luck.

yeah mostly, it;s easy, but it;s not always.

idk if PS is better, but sometime, the path finding of gimp isn;t precise enough. Like, to give you an idea, it can become very hard to remove a bg if the image has jpg compressing since it kinda looks horrible anyway.

I tried to remove the bg of my SS paper mario animation.....nah, it's awful....

I use the Free Select Tool for those usually, both in PS and GIMP. JPEG artifacts really mess with the magic wand/fuzzy select tool.

my problem with free select is this: how am I suppose to trace something with precision while I have a cheap small mouse that I need to do in one try?

I can work with big images and I might just want to trace near pixels like I could want my selection to be the tightest possible, but how can you be that precise with free select?

Pressing Shift or Ctrl lets you move in small steps though.

I don't like them because they are a rip off of Rabbids. By that same measure, I dislike the Happymeal People because they are ripoffs of both.

Maybe because they are all over the place, not everyone like the over saturation of a character, movie or game.
Me personally l really don't care for them, I'm not really a big fan of comic relief characters in the spot light. To me most of the time they can't hold the story together alone and they become completely one note. The reason why I like Sheen in Jimmy Neutron Vs how he is in his own show.

Its like a forced meme, trying to replicate the Penguins of Madagascar spinoff success but with zero of the charm or intelligence, just push it really hard because some kids liked them in Despicable Me. People are sick of seeing this unoriginal and quite frankly annoying character design everywhere, like EVERYWHERE, think of any common appliance and theres a minion equivalent.

I see... So a saturation backlash. Reminds me a bit of Frozen, although the movie is average at best.
