There are still some good shows on Cartoon Network. There's Pokemon, Sonic Boom, The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, and Regular Show. Admittedly, there are still some downright terrible ones in the mix as well (Teen Titans Go, Teen Titans Go, and Teen Titans Go).

Acually I kinda like that show

I know shocking, someone LIKING that show..
There are some good episodes here and there, but the main problem I have with the show is the lessons it may teach kids. Like in some episodes, the Teen Titans represent what you shouldn't do, and I'm pretty sure many kids would not be able to understand sarcasm well. And to make it even more confusing, there are times when they represent what you should do. That's my main gripe with the show. I don't care about them making fun of a show I used to like. It's just the potential effect it may have on this generation.

If a kid is learning from a cartoon in the first place and not their parents, something is wrong

Adventure Time is just on hiatus. And CN going downhill? How? It's a lot better than it was before 2010 happened.
To me it has a lack of variety, They show the same show all day everyday, Mostly Gumball and Teen Titans Go. There is no reason for me to watch their network on any other day but Thursday night. It maybe better than what we had before the 2010s but it still not good.

Not necessarily. Not all parents are good teachers. And it's not like parents know everything there is to life lessons.
Along with that, having cartoons as a supplement to a child's learning never hurts. It makes watching TV much more valuable.
I actually learned a lot of lessons about friendship and relationships in general from TV and video games for personal reasons I would not like to delve into.

Yeah, tv can actually teach you a lot of stuff.
It sure has for me.

Agreed. Since it has become the norm to have a TV, we might as well make the most of it in the most positive way possible.
This is why I fear kids life now adays
I know what you mean. And that's also why the different kinds of influences on them such as TV matter.

Cartoon Network talk? Well, just when I already despise the current Boomerang, they decided to play Johnny Test reruns. :glare:

Eh same old, College and stuff. Really it has been extremely normal.

I have been playing Mario Maker a lot and I'm looking forward to Happy Home Designer
Mario Maker is super cute but I'm not too interested in it, Happy Home Designer on the other hand...

Although I'm not happy with the extreme tone change Teen Titans Go! took, I also personally think it's humor is just....crap, to be honest.

I find most of the characters (especially Robin) to be annoying, and most of the jokes to be terrible or otherwise also annoying.

That moment when I don't know how the American Boomerang is...
The LA one airs varied stuff, old and new cartoons, original productions and... Shin Chan lol

I haven't turned the channel to Boomerang in a long time...how much as it changed?

It used to only air really old cartoons (many of which were made by Hanna Barbera) that CN no longer aired.

Here's a spoiler-free Mother 3 review because why not.

EarthBound has already become one of my favorite games of all time, and I admit I found it difficult to believe that Mother 3 would be a worthy followup. On the contrary, Mother 3 did the impossible and managed to be even stronger than its predecessor.

The gameplay is substantially the same as EarthBound's, with a few additions, most notably the combo system. Pressing the button to the beat of the music to unleash a string of attacks is right at home with the series' general tone, and keeps the player engaged with even the simplest of battles. The Auto Battle function has been removed, but the game seems to be designed to prevent you from missing it. Rather than going Leeroy Jenkins on enemies and doing the same to bosses with maybe a status effect thrown in (but probably not), you have to really think about your approach when fighting bosses, particularly in the game's latter half.

Despite these gameplay improvements, where the game most drastically outclasses EarthBound is its story. It really takes advantage of the JRPG format to create a masterful, twisting and turning tale from start to finish. It's difficult to elaborate without spoilers, but suffice it to say that this is one of the heaviest games ever made, almost to the point of tragic literature. Also, it continues the series tradition of having an incredibly intense final battle, and it's even more emotional than Giygas' fights.

(I think I'm going to tag @aldelaro5 now.)

Recap:

No Hanna Barbera PERIOD
Scooby-Doo! Where Are You?
The Flintstones
Looney Toons
Tom & Jerry
The Garfield Show
What's New, Scooby-Doo?
Courage the Cowardly Dog
The Looney Toons Show
Teen Titans Go! (Why the **** when it's still making episodes on CN???)
The Amazing World of Gumball (see Teen Titans Go!)

That's pretty much it from what I remember. Yeah, it's pure **** now

That thing you throw and it comes back to you A channel that airs old cartoons from CN that are no longer on the air though they have been showing newer ones as of recent from what I hear. It's been a long time since I've watched anything on that channel.

.....

Forget the rest of the details. That's basically destroying the Boomerang I grew up with.

A bunch of wonderful, charming classics, straight down the drain. Disgraceful.
Ahh, good old hanna barbera.

Those old Disney shows and some looney tunes I believe, even though I'm only 13, those were the cartoons I grew up watching as we didn't have tv.

Good times.

I have faint memories of Looney Tunes airing while I was super young, but it didn't last long. I'm glad they brought it back on the channel in 2010, though.

As for Boomerang....yuck. At least they have a few of CN's classics like Courage, as well as the Looney Tunes and good ole' Tom & Jerry. Good ole' cartoon violence that I laughed at growing up.
