That's what happens with every newly released video game/DLC ever. Example: GTA V was everywhere on the internet pre-release, though you scarcely see talk of it outside of relevant topics and videos now. Tons of people still play it, sure, but the post-release hype wore off.

I took way to much time creating my avatar. Conker's tail was cropped out because for it to be the maximum avatar size, it would have some other stuff in the "portrait",which I did not want so I had to use the background and well... It was really complicated.

Also Mighty No. 9...isn't looking too promising. Which is alright, but considering how long it's been taking and again like you said, putting out another kickstarter, it is.
Then there's the hypocrisy with how Inafune said Japanese devs keep on making the same stuff yet he makes a game that's literally spiritually succeeding a 25+ year old franchise, and doesn't do enough different to really separate it.
