I've found the cave to be easier over the years as I play through it again. The first few times were extremely tough though, and the very first time is just horrifying.

At least there's only one of them unlike in that one Challenge Mode level...Bully Den. (though that one is actually one of my favorites. Fighting two of them is something I find quite satisfying when you're provided with a small but respectable army of Purple Pikmin)

It is justified though, since many of the other Pikmin would become less useful if you had a lot of them. They are immune to all the elements, which a pretty major deal, even if they don't have any additional capabilities like extra jump height or attacking power.

The Final Boss would be a total pushover. :p

But Pikmin 2 wasn't even in stock when I looked through my local video game stores at the time.

Yet Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 3 already had like; 15 copies sitting right on one shelf.

Then again, one of my sister's friends got the router for her birthday, and it was less than $50.....

We are going to get a better one soon.

Well, if you can ever get your hands on a copy, I seriously recommend it.

It's the only Pikmin game thus far without a time limit, which gives you all the time you need and want to explore areas and farm Pikmin. Gives it a less-rushed feel.

Beat the Phantom Pain. Story was a bit questionable at times but you can't deny that gameplay.

I've only gotten up to chapter 3 as of now, but I'm also juggling a Bloodborne and New Vegas playthrough so maybe that's the reason why I'm going slower than most people.

Also I decided to boot up Smash again and go on For Glory despite my better judgement, and I'm not as rusty as I thought I would be. Won the majority of my 20~ or so matches with Ryu and Ness.

I've only had Metroid Fusion for 2 days and I'm already near the end.

I hear people call it "linear" compared to other 2D Metroids.

A lot of the repetition is people actually doing certain missions late in the game that are mostly optional but are basically copy and paste. Best to ignore at least some of those missions if you don't care about 100 percent completion.

Yeah, Phantom Pain was my only game running right now. If I was playing ANYTHING else I wouldn't have beaten it by now, it's a huge game.

I heard that Phantom Pain was long. I also heard the bear was OP. Currently, I'm stuck in Pokemon Shuffle trying to get Vivillon. He's impossible to beat without items, which I'm trying to refrain from using items. After I catch Vivillon, I will try to S-rank more stages to unlock more expert stages. Otherwise, I've been content with Pokemon Shuffle and Smash.

Watched some anime today. Favorite moment today:

I'd love to claim that I drew this but I'm not to that level of jerkbag.

I found it in the triforce heroes tag on tumblr. They are going crazy for cheerleader(and to a lesser extent princess) Link.

It would have made no sense for Snake to be in Smash and Nintendo to advertise for every other major platform (even 360 and PS3 which have similar specs) so I can certainly see why he was cut this time.

The Twins Snakes was a full remake by a Nintendo second-party studio and only 2 years old in 2006 when Snake was revealed for Brawl, and MGS4 obviously could not possibly exist on Wii. All we got on Nintendo systems after that was a late and low value (compared to the HD collection) port of MGS3 for 3DS, which I bought, lol.
