What's a 3DS?

A miserable little pile of no games and futu- oh, 3DS. Never mind then.

Say, is it for a fever to go away just within 36 hours or so? Yes I did pop in a paracetamol (or acetaminophen).

Depends on the fever. I've had fevers that lasted only two days, but also fevers that lasted almost a week.

Our government (US) recently legalized same-sex marriage, requiring all churches and places of worship to hand out same-sex marriage licenses. Kim Davis is a Kentucky priest who is refusing to hand out licenses, say it "Goes against her Christian belief." Now there's this huge debate on supporting her or pressing charges. Really, I'm a Christian and I believe that God created us to be unique and respect each other. I support Gay marriage, and it's sad how many LGBT people are hated and fought against. I really hope Kim Davis has charges pressed.

Ughhhhhh, I've been worrying all day.

I phoned my university this morning that I have a booked holiday that takes place during my Induction week and first week of practicals/seminars. However, when the receptionist got back to me, she said that it might be "too late". She's emailed two module leaders and says she will get back to me when they reply to her.

Worst case scenario, I might have to drop my holiday flight if I want to stay on my Master course. I won't be able to properly relax until I get a call back. >___>

She's not a user, no. She is someone who disobeyed the law and thinks she should be a special exception due to her religious beliefs. And now people all over the place are complaining that freedom of religion and speech don't exist because she was "jailed for her beliefs" which is absolute bull****. She was jailed because she disobeyed the law, regardless of what her beliefs are. People really annoy me. >.>

And yeah, it happened recently. It is weird, but I wouldnt worry about it being a hack.

Regardless of her beliefs, she is refusing to do her job. If any of us refused to do our jobs, we would be punished as well.

Exactly. But most people are used to the idea of a male-female partnership that same-sex relationships is a foreign concept. With the recent freedoms being released, more and more people are coming out. So more and more people are becoming aware.

We had this holiday booked for over a year, dude. I didn't even think I would be going back to university to do my Masters until 2 weeks ago, when I found out I won a scholarship. I was lucky. Now I'm just wishing my sister didn't pick the worst dates possible that could affect my education. Somehow this always happens. >_>

As for University life, it depends on how active it is at your university and where it's located. Do you have a Student's Union? It's a basically an active foundation where people help to build a relaxing and fun location where students can socialise and meet others when they're not busy studying. Mine offers a student bar, clubs, sports, etc. You might wanna research your university and what there is to do.

My future is now a ? so I'm a bit anxious and don't really know what to do...

It's really hard to use your degree for work these days, in Taiwan, most people are college students. I'll try to utilize it as much as I can in the future.

What is you experience of university? Do you think it was good?

Well during my 3 years on my Bachelor course, it was both fun and stressful. With enough hard work it all payed off for me in the end, (though I was I was more enthusiastic during my 1st year). But with a lot of good **** comes a lot of dumb ****, regardless if it's your fault, another person's fault, or the computer. Long hours studying, long nights studying, and endless travel between university and home. That's higher education for you.

My Master's course will be unsurprisingly harder, especially when it's only a 1 year course. But I'm looking forward to the challenge.
