Stage Builder I can see, but certainly not Special Mode. Heck, things like Stamina Mode and Mega Mode are used in Smash Run. So I still don't see it. And it shouldn't be a memory problem.

What if it had a clamshell form factor like the GBA SP, DS, and 3DS before it? Of course "real" analog sticks wouldn't fit in properly.. unless there's some workaround...

In this day and age, It doesn't matter anymore if they game breaks due to too much stuff, people want more now

I'm going to say that's not entirely true. The gaming community hates broken, super glitchy, and unfinished games more than almost anything else, along with games that can't keep promises. It's the reason why Dead Island and Watch_Dogs failed to live up to expectations and why games like Ride to Hell and Sonic '06 are forever immortalized in the Video Game Hall of (in)fame.

Speaking of games that don't live up to expectations, I'm really hoping that won't be the case for Mighty No.9. But at the same time, all of Inafune's shenanigans has squashed a large percentage of our hopes.

Oh it'll be fine. Worse case he can make another Kickstarter for an apology on the game's quality.

I read kickstarter backers will be getting a demo of the game in a couple weeks, with 3 playable stages. Unfortunately, I'm not one, so we'll probably get an opinion from those guys.

I would like to apologies for the quality of Mighty No.9... We understand that fans are disappointed and will make sure that we produce better games in the future.

See, I blame it less on being greedy and more mismanagement.
He wanted to do more than one idea, and I theorize he thought lightning would strike twice. And I think that right there is the problem. We don't know where any of this is going, so maybe it would've been better to wait with Red Ash (and the movie for Christ's sake) until we got a better picture from it. I get he's wanting to do all these ideas at once, but this isn't Capcom with an AAA budget. This is starting anew.

I can hardly stand the mere sight of lenny faces anymore.

The amount of people who spammed it in TF2 for any reason (it can range from kills, domination, captures and even just flooding the chat with it totally at random) made me hate it. I never really thought it was funny in the first place though, to be honest. Outside of those MLG parodies anyway. Those can make me laugh if they're done right.
