Using the rock as a punish for your opponent shielding is something I never thought of, especially after a backthrow into sourspot bair. o___o NICE VIDEO! Probably the best Kirby video guide I've seen!

I don't agree with Down Throw being viable, mostly because of my god it takes so long to finish, but I never realized that it could be used against fast fallers like Fox. Interesting.

Very great video though - went over basically everything newer Kirby players need to know. And I never knew about Fire Kirby! That's so funny.

Awesome video! I had a question - does throwing out a dtilt reset the time before Kirby does his crouch animation and starts getting hit by stuff?

How exactly? I'm at school so I can't look up how or anything.
I thought the throw was basically useless.....
Btw does meteor stone deal the same shield damage?
Because it automatically makes you rise when you use it on the ground, meaning you wouldn't have to jump to get both hits of stone and break shields correct?

Izaw, you are the only other person that I've ever seen use Stone to break shields and Hammer to strike ledged foes. Same with dancing (easier to do by holding up on the stick and shuffling left and right, by the way, also readies you for an instant up tilt), I've been opening battles with and infuriating people with that since the 3DS version's launch.

(Kirby) Hats off to you, good sir.

Well, it is basically useless, but he did come up with something, at least - at a certain percentage, fast fallers like Fox will have to tech the Down Throw, and you can get a good tech chase off of it. Unless they can just jump away before they actually land, then the Down Throw is useless again, but I don't think they can at the percentages Izaw mentioned in the video.

Also, having watched the Kirby vs Bowser video, I see what kind of Kirby player you are, and I enjoy seeing Kirby's like that! Most Kirby's that I know of, myself included, are more defense orientated and wait on getting "that good string" and going from there. Seeing a more offensive Kirby is nice. My personal favorite part was when you used Stone as an edgeguard when he was in a position where he had to Up Special to get back on stage - covering a lot of options. Shame he made back, but good job noticing that!

Oh I thought you were talking about me on that second part xD
But I am more aggressive Kirby player, but I do play some defensive sometimes.........why does Wisconsin have to be a TERRIBLE place for competition?
Hey btw Kirbykid, do you play teams? Who's your partner and what character do they use? What team do you think would be best for Kirby? I know there are several good ones.

No, it doesn't do the same shield damage as Stone.
