What a long way Nintendo has come, if it were true. In Melee, a trophy mentioning devils was eradicated from Western releases. Now there's a playable character who is a "mercenary and a demon" accompanied by slashing and gore sound effects. I'm going to have to concur with MisterVideoGaming, though, since foxweekly seems to be the only site apart from Smash message boards to have even heard of onefinalsmash.
