Have you guys ever tried doing a Fair right before you hit the ground? I mean really, right before. His arm goes back to do the punch, but he lands laglessly and the animation gets cut off immediately. This can be done with Dair and Nair, though the timing is more strict, and maybe with the others (hard to tell). I thought this was worthless, but then I reconsidered the word "lagless." As you may or may not know, fastfalling and falling from higher up leads to a couple more frames of nothing when you land. This may cancel that. It does NOT cancel RCO lag, that was the first thing I tested. I don't know about fastfall lag. Another thing this does is, if you are tumbling, it allows you to land standing up laglessly without teching.

Your thoughts?

Good fake outs into jabs/grabs? If they shield they get grabbed etc. Good for those inclined to shield grabbing. But once they catch on they'll just attack lol.. then you really bring out the fair.

Sorry, what does RCO lag refer to?
If you Up B and grab the ledge or hit someone, then the next time you land, you will be forced to hold still for 16 frames. It is a very unfortunate glitch that effects several characters, Ganon worst of all.

I do it as a taunt very rarely. I found fair had useless autocancel frames a loooooooooooong time ago, I even posted it in my test thread. The only useful thing is being able to get up laglessly from the tumble animation... But even so it's risky, because if you do it wrong, you end up with half a second of lag.
