Yes, I had my suspicions that the outcome of a CPU tournament battle you watch is different than one you skip.
And it's true.
Why?
Let's say you have a stage with an inescapable room sealed with a drop block, so if the drop block respawns, you never get out.
If both combatants are sealed inside, the battle will never end.
If the outcome were the same if you didn't watch that battle, Then the game would freeze!
But that never happens.
As such, skipping a battle determines the winner in an entirely different way.
Which means that if you skip a battle between a level 9 and a level 5, it's not too big of a stretch to bet that the level 5 will win. When I skip tournament battles, it's almost 50/50 either way. So if you want a good CPU opponent, DO NOT SKIP HIS BATTLES! He may lose by sheer bad luck.
