ive been reading up this recently and to be honest cant do it and dont fully understand it, so could someone with experience/knowledge of SJR tell me something? could this help luigis game any?

I don't think it's really all that useful for Luigi because it's not like you're making all that big of a reduction in frames by cutting out the already near minimal landing and jumping frames.

It's really more useful for those who have aerials that don't have autocancel timings in a shorthop, but the larger-but-still-shorter-than-a-full-jump second jump are long enough to provide nearly perfect timings for the ISJR, like Snake and Lucario, but not Luigi.

cheers for the explanation. so what you are saying is its only useful for a select few characters?

You said exactly what I was gonna say. :chuckle:

@Luigidude: The ISJR may look cool etc. but it is really not useful, because it can easily be dodged and punished.
