Basically, I'm creating this thread to raise awareness for this game, and to hopefully convince a few people to shell out some money and get it on Steam so my friend and I can get some games going. It's possible to run it on a brick at 14-21 FPS, so system requirements aren't that big of an issue.

In my opinion, Singularity is underrated. Its campaign is the lovechild of Half-Life 2 and BioShock, only instead of plasmids and gravity guns, you use a time-manipulating device on your hand to age and revert objects, move them, or stop time in a localized area. The story isn't exactly Pulitzer Prize material, but it's a good sci-fi/horror romp through Soviet Russia with some very memorable parts.

The multiplayer is awesome. You can play as humans with specialized TMDs that can grant you teleportation or healing abilities, as well as mutated creatures with supernatural abilities. My favorite is the Phase Tick. It can cling to walls and launch itself at people, and it possesses the body of whoever it kills. Unfortunately, the game's population is practically nonexistent, so you can see why new blood is necessary.

If there's already a thread for this, I couldn't find it because the search function is down, so... Derp.

I wish this game would get more attention. The story was good, and the gameplay was pretty fresh for a shooter. Heck, I'd be playing it now if the goddamn PSN wasn't down.

I played this game on the 360. The storyline was pretty awesome. My only complaint is that it was VERY difficult at first, yet it got much easier at the end and it sort of killed my fear of the setting. At the start it was like "Oh ****, what was that noise am I about to get mauled!?" By the end, I just sorta was able to charge in and kill stuff.

I didn't like the multiplayer much. Just wasn't my thing.

But I do agree, this game is awesome and should get much more rep.

Good lord. Windows 98?
Yeah, I just never felt like getting 2000, and 98's good enough for what I need my computer for.

Y'know what? This thread has inspired me to play Story mode on this game again.

My little bro has this game.

I can back it up that it's story is pretty legit.
