Okay.. this is a question about LHDL. Before you go bashing at me to go search and ****, i noe what it is. i noe how to do it, but the question is.

Is it possible to have the 2 lasers come out on the same elevation by using x and b?

Does anybody on this board use x and b to fire 2 lasers on the same elevation?

I can do it when i use the control stick.. and i noe dashizwiz uses the control stick and many others. but i was wondering if its possible.

of course its possible, u just have to hit B like 1 frame after u press jump (X/Y).
the reason its so easy with the control stick is because u have ur right hand free and u can jus press B after flicking up on the control stick.

so to answer ur question, of course its possible, u jus have to be fast

this thread is so silly

lols my bad.
Someone said something about the level of which u jump? That only determines how high/low the lasers will go if they are both at the same level

o_o same elevation? i thought that the EHDL was supposed to be at different heights so that if your opponent ducks/stands up they'll get hit by at least 1 laser

anyways, if you're talking about the non-same elevation laser then yeah, it's possible with x and b. but i'm not so sure about the same elevation thing :x

edit: just tried it, it's very possible

I'm sorry but obviously you've never tied using X and B, I myself have found away to get the perfect EHDL using this, I've gotten very good at switching my grip very slightly to have one finger on X and B at the same time allowing me to get a very easy EHDL and I have perfected it to the point where as long as I fall down far enough I can get it every time sometimes at jiggly crouching height. Although you may say switching your grip is a bad idea I do it without even thinking now and and can go from one grip to the other fast enough to make it effective and stil get my attack off. Although control stick may be considered better I had alot of troule with the jump and going into firebird. If you can adjust to a very slight grip change then this is just as easy as using the control stick if not easier so before you write something off as impossible to do try it.

I'm also sure with fast enough fingers people can get it with the normal grip I myself didn't want to learn the speed and found an easy solution

I've only pulled off EHDL with X and B three times (not in a row). I tried using the control stick yesterday and found it easy to do but extremely unfomfortable for my fingers. I'm so used to just using X. Sometimes when I EHDL wrong my Falco shoots the other way like a dummy. lol
