Does this really matter, given that Wonderful 101 is going to be at E3 and thus this likely has nothing to do with a Smash character inclusion?

Interesting. I don't know anything about Wonderful 101 (I don't know if any information has been released about it either), but it makes sense to add in a new IP that they want to take off by throwing it in one of their biggest games.
