I often face the dilemma when I want to edge grab. It is difficult for me to choice using side B edge grab or down b edge grab. It seems like down b, cap move, can actually move a little after the teleport, and it is fantastic for mind game. Compare to down B, the side B edge grab needs good timing and does not attack the person edge guarding.

Any thoughts?

Use Side Special (Drill Rush) for recovery in any direction. The situation that makes it most desirable to use is when someone is either Air Guarding or Edge Hogging. The high priority it has while moving you forward can protect you from someone's mid-air attacks while getting you to the ledge, and if they're Edge Hogging it can drill them off and let you grab the edge right away.

Dimensional Cape is best used for a sudden movement. Its invincibility frames are very short and thus not very reliable in getting through attacks, so what it's best used for is a sudden lunge for the edge when you know there is nothing hitting between you and and the stage. Slashing with it before grabbing the edge is a bad idea because you do not grab the edge during the attack animation and shortly thereafter while falling (so you have to be above the ledge a good distance to grab it after attacking with Dimensional Cape).

Shuttle Loop is great when you think you can hit an Air Guarding or Edge Hogging opponent since it has a high chance of gimping the opponent, such as with a "stage spike". You can use it on stages like Final Destination to "Ride the Stage" and sweetspot the ledge without looping around. It's a very quick movement and can be used in many situation for effective recovery. The main draw back is that it doesn't actually have good upward recovery (except when "Riding the Stage"), especially when missing an Edge Hogger (invincibility frames). This causes you to loop around and go under the stage where you usually cannot get back up.
