Shouldn't this infinite be Smash DI:able? (ie not an infinite)

g. Infinite Forward-Reverse Waveshine (Peach, Link, and Zelda only)

What it is: Shining one of these characters, then wavedashing to the other side
of them, where you shine them again and wavedash to the other side, and so on.

How to do it: This infinite relies on a very quick forward and reverse
waveshine, so be quick with that as it is the only way to perform this.

Breakdown: You must perform the dual waveshines extremely quickly in order to
catch these characters before their traction pulls them too far away for you to
continue any longer. Do your best to perform perfect wavedashes to give your-
self the best chance at clearing your opponent.
You can barely get behind them as it is... And SDI takes you relatively far, so if the Link/Peach/Zelda SDI's in the same direction they where being shined, is it even possible to get behind them?
Anyone have AR to test? >.<

Yeah, that article was written a really long time ago. Now the "infinite" is more of a mix-up that almost nobody bothers to use.

Yeah, I think the only infinite still standing is the JC shine, which is the most difficult to do. Possibly the WD down shine, also. But thanks to discoveries in DI, any flatland, or drill infinite is not truly infinite.
