There's no such thing as a nornal person
I know there's a web game out there like it called Pokemon Type Wild, but what if Pokemon made a new adventure game on the Wii/DS, but it was more like a Fighter/Smash bros game rather than the typical RPG?
Think of it this way; it's got the controls of Super Smash Bros. (A is a neutral attack, you can jump and do a variety of aireals, and B would do actuall Pokemon moves like Thunderbolt depending on if you used a directional input or not.)It would be a 2-D fighter like Street Fighter, and it would have an overworld to it like Pokemon Collosseum.
It would contain an adventure mode and you could choose which region you would start from first. It would still contain the level aspects and type advantages as well as conditions that negativly affect your Pokemon (Poision, Burn, sleep, etc.) Abilities would also be included as well as evolving Pokemon in the middle of a battle like they do in the anime.
Apart from the adventure, it would also have a free battle mode where you could fight any Pokemon you've seen in Adventure/the Pokemon you have unlocked from the beginning. It would have different divisons based on the based on what stage of evolution your Pokemon is at (1st = fully evolved, 2nd=middle evolve/first form, 3rd = baby/1st form) and you could change the rules to fight only a certain division or have a free battle.
You could also import Pokemon from your games as well to unlock them in the game and use them in free battle mode. This idea came to me after playing multiple Brawls with Pokemon Trainer and I thought, "Why couldn't they make a Pokemon game with battles like this?"
If Nintendo ever would do this, I feel like I wouldn't be dissapointed unless it looks like Pokemon Rumble. Don't get me wrong, that thing wasn't that bad. It just didn't feel like a good Pokemon game or a good fighter game in general, then again that's only my opinion.
