Should Sakurai remove the team color option from team battles?

I personally think he should. He can at least add an option to turn team colors on and off. Now you would still be Red Team/Blue Team/Green Team, but you wouldnt have to wear that color. We could finally have team battles with characters wearing whatever color they want. The color aspect has always made team battles a little less epic. Sakurai could simply make their icons the same color, instead of having to wear the same color. Anyone else agree?

I didn't know the color of my character played a key role in the epicness of my fight.

Um. Team battles are colored so that you know who your team mate is since the other team might use the same characters. But that makes me think...

If you want to know who's your partner, name are there for that. I think that it would be great if it was an option.

Yeah, they now have a picture of your character next to the icon, and underneath them is your characters name. With those features, Sakurai is probably making an option to turn off team colors.

I personally hate having to be a pink/red Luigi every time I'm on red team so yeah I'd like Sakurai to let me be a lean green fightin machine on a team.

I hate those pesky team colors. Like, if you wanted to have the classic team of mario and luigi, one of them would have to be out of thier trademark colors, which really irks me. I hope sakurai removed them

Not only people wont have to take ugly costume (debatable lol) but new team color will be available. Like black, white and yellow and neutral color for some char.

I agree its a great topic, but i think that it may be a little hard for certain people to distinguish between teams if the same people are picked.

not really fussed on the team colors or not really, all i think is that the teams should split via another method like banner or something but not really color.

Well in one of the videos, Pit did his character entrance right next to Samus and Pikachu and they weren't wearing the same colors so is this a hint towards teams not wearing the same color?

Half the fun of team battles is arguing with your teammate about which color you want to play.

I don't think the colors are much of a problem really. And whats so bad about pink luigi? It just makes it all the more humiliating to be owned by a plumber wearing pink XD

Don't get me wrong sometimes the colors make a difference and we as players need variety, but for team the same color could kinda get on your nerves.

I imagine this option will stay considering the confirmed colors of a lot of characters, such as Samus, Mario, Pikachu, Meta Knight, and Peach.

I don't want it though, and hopefully Sakurai can implement a new way of indicating teammates.
