The closest M-rated game for Smash Bros was Brawl. (Which it was rated T.)
Anyway to say this short..........Should Nintendo(And Sakurai, of course.) make a M-rated Smash Bros game?

No, never have, never will, never should, never would, never can, never even thought of, should not, will not, and cannot be a M-Rated Smash Bros.

Why? To limit their audience? They deliberately got Smash Bros 4 to get an E10+ rating.

....wha? Why purposely get an M rating? I personally don't really care what rating it has since ratings are BS anyways, but it'd make no sense on Nintendo's behalf.

Fire Emblem: Awakening was rated T (for Tharja). Tharja ain't as raunchy as Bayonetta. You'd need a girl from Ninja Gaiden or anyone from TERA.

Twili Midna wouldn't even make SSB rated M even though she's only wearing a headdress, skirt, a cloak - she's not wearing a shirt and that black stuff on her chest isn't clothing.

An M rating would only greenlight Samus getting a full zero suit

Nope. Nintendo does not need to make Smash an M-rated game.

They can get other M games like Bayonetta but not a pre-existing awesome franchise like Smash.

For some reason, I used to think Melee had blood, hence why it had the T rating. It turned out to be the blue sweat drops that come out whenever you got hit.
.... I'm not even color blind.
But to answer the question, no M Smash. I would like Nintendo to have an M rated game of their own something along the lines of TF2. But that still may be years/decades off.

We'd probably need to see Nintendo make an M-Rated Metroid game before we even get close to seeing Smash Bros. get an M-Rating.

It should be called "Smash Bros Clash"
Plus, I don't see a problem of a M-rated Smash Bros game. I really want to see that as a possibility.
Define M Rated. Do you mean like Mortal Kombat super gory spine shattery M Rated or like TF2 cartoon blood and crude humor kind of M Rated? I would go with the second one as I love TF2 :L

Honestly I would totally sacrifice the rating for Bayonetta, I say yes.

Hell no. It would completely destroy the sales.

The majority of kids who play Nintendo nowadays are the ones whose moms don't let them play Xbox and CoD zomg 69. They wouldn't be allowed to get the new Smash game if it was Rated M.

Are you joking? Most children today play M-rated games like GTA, Halo, and Call of duty! I'm pretty sure the sales will be fine.

The whole 'make a game this rating' thing has always been stupid, first you make the game, then you evaluate what you made to give it a rating, limiting one's own creativity is stupid.

Nope, and I feel like I don't really need to explain why either. It'd be like Nintendo going "Shadow the Hedgehog" on us for no reason, which would make it feel completely out of context.

What do you mean going "Shadow the Heghog" on us?
Because Shadow the Hedgehog felt completely out of context to the themes Sonic normally runs by (at least the time). It went from a cartoony series filled with one-liners and cheesy humor to a world filled with swearing, darker themes, guns, aliens, etc. It felt completely out of place for a Sonic game, which is why they never really did anything like that again. Imagine a Smash Bros game with that kind of content, with blood, violence, swearing, etc. They even had to give Snake completely different tools so he'd feel (somewhat) in place in Brawl to avoid an M rating. lol

Nay. It's fine as is and tacking on blood/cursing/drugs/sex/whatever would be not only out of place but completely unnecessary.

Oh and sort of related...

What a silly idea.

Do you have any idea how badly M-Rated games sell on Nintendo consoles?
