Polar Bear Cafe!
The comedy/slice of life anime about a polar bear named Polar Bear (or Shirokuma) that owns a cafe. Other characters include a panda named Panda, a penguin named Penguin, and a grizzly bear named Grizzly. There's great characters, setting, everything (except maybe action
). Fans of Yotsuba will probably like this, with the genre and the randomness of some characters. There's basically no inappropriate content too, especially compared to other anime.
Polar Bear Cafe is also a manga but you'll probably never find it (due its obscurity) unless you look online (or just go here!).
It's apparently a Josei anime, but just try watching it before judging it

This might not be for everyone due to the relatively slow pace and focus on humor, but I think more people should at least give it a try.
