shine to upsmash combo

in the wombo combo video i noticed that he was able to shine then upsmash and i comboed, when ever i do it, it always pushes the enemy to far.

You need to be super fast. Having the enemy on top of you when you do it makes it a lot easier, just like you see in Wombo Combo.

It's much easier if you're intercepting an aerial approach, since it doesn't send them straight out.
