Shine to insta-grab.

Possibly old news, but here goes...

I'm sure most of you know that if you shine, you can jump-cancel into a grab by shining followed by jump + Z. Well, I was just playing against a Peach and discovered that if you're running at the Peach you can shine to a jump-cancelled grab and, well, it works. No waveshine necessary.

Like I said, possibly old, but still cool. I'm sure it works on other characters that don't fall down as well.

If you have enough momentum it works on every character. Also works with up-smash.

yea theres a new fox combo vid on the boards that is really really good, and you see this a lot in it. i prefer keeping my space and approaching the old fashioned way though. i dont like running up to people just to shine....doesnt really work for me =/

This could be useful, but I've yet to see many people use it. I personally never use this technique. (I would have either waveshined or just flat out grabbed them).
