Shine -> Illusion

I was using this against an Ice Climber and it was working. So I tested in training mode and if you jc to illusion fast enough the counter reads 2. Plus you're in a good position considering how far ice climbers go and the length of the illusion.

Could be applicable to other characters. Guaranteed combo's ftw. DI depending of course also.... but who DI's shine srsly lol consistently lol

I feel like the lag after the illusion would leave you open, and the knockback/damage isnt really worth it.

Actually at the last tourney I attended, I did illusion -> usmash for the kill. **** was so good.

Ok, the game itself calls it the phantom. It may have changed over time because people kept saying "phantasm." When people kept searching for this "phantasm" the forum members kept talking about, the alternate name may have been created.

Ok, I'll admit it. You're right. I swore it was called that from a long time ago. Also, I had never heard the word "phantasm" before, so I assumed it to be a typo.

I was starting to question myself, too, actually. I thought it may have been called that in the SSBM Players Handbook or something, but then I thought "Who the **** reads those things?"

I saw silent wolf do this to luigi a while back. Kinda funny combo

yeah, i see it's definfitly applicable to the super slidy ones like IC m2 luigi maybe others because theres not much you can do against them usually anyways

It does seem pretty useful if they're not expecting it.
