For those who use the shine to pwn n00bs, when's the best moment to drop and shine. Mostly on FD is what I'm looking for help with. I know that Fax chambos Fax hardcore but anyone else I could get help against would be greatly appreciated.

I think the shine gimp spikey thingy is the coolest thing you could do to someone only because it incites crazy amounts of RAGE and forces the opponent to come back at you with more stupid and less well-timed moves that you can easily counter.

I feel, by the way you post, that I'm being trolled. That being said...

Shine them when they are vulnerable (ie in lag from a move or in a charge state like the start up of firefox) or once you have grabbed the edge and gotten invincibility for a bit.

Marth has a pretty easy recovery you can do that too. Falcon and Ganon are also suspect to getting easily shine spiked.

I'm wondering why you mention Fax is easy to kill in such a manner, but not Flaco. He's sooooo much easier(off the stage, anyway).

Peach is usually going high, but with invincibility you can catch her low. Watch Mango's Fox vs Armada's Peach on DL from I think pound 4: **** was raw. =3

Sheik can be Shine Spiked, but good luck. Not usually happening because of her gay-*** up B.

Jiggs is unusually shine spike-able: it just takes like 10+ shines to do it LOL

ICs are also pretty easy, you just have to master L-cancel against shields.

No trolling; genuine post, man. Thanks.

@ss118: I hardly ever get a chance to do that to Marf due to the grab range and my inability to stun with lasers, but it's very satisfying when it happens. Any ideas on how to deal with a Young Link? My friend pretty much pwns with Rinku... (friggin' swards) and I want to shut it all down.

If you're playing another Fox, and they're forced to firefox from below, shining them out of firefox is easier than it looks, and looks awesome.

It's hard to shinespike good players. If they recover high then just shine them or if they don't sweetspot ledge.
