Shield Dropping

I didn't know where else to post this question, so I made a thread. How is shield dropping different in this game? Is it just as effective or should I not bother experimenting? Thanks in advance.

The control stick is a bit more sensitive than in Melee so it's a bit harder. Nothing impossible though.

Definitely experiment.

I guess it depends on the method. I do it by rolling from side to diagonal in melee, and haven't had problems in pm.

Ok cool! I'll play around with it. If you are quick enough then you should be able to do aerials out of a shield drop right?

yup, that's one of the advantages of this technique. I think it let's you do an aerial frame 1 and thus makes shielding on a platform go from really bad to really good.
