Does any one find it more easier to break shields. i realized this when i started to use marth's SB as a regular attack, and i broke shields more than once in matches. yea the shield beaker can be seen a mile away, but it is decently fast and if you mind game it right you can get a shield break. i like using the shield break mosly because of its decent damage and good knock back and at certain percents K o potential. anyways does anyone think it is more easier to break shields now? please discuss...

Yeah it is, they made it stay basically true to its name. Should you hit an opponent's shield with it, you'll basically force them to be offensive as they cannot risk possibly committing Shield Stupidity.

Also, it's good as an edgeguard technique, but also works as a forward approach, and can pressure the opponent to go toward the ledges instead of risking to take the hit.

It really lost its edgeguard potential, this move is more awesome than it was before..

I find myself spamming this move when playing my friends who shieldwhore.
Even uncharged, this thing is lethal to shields. It turns that huge full body shield and takes a huge chunk out of it, and they'd probably be scared to shield. If they do shield again, they can say goodbye to it.

If I break their shield, I usually just attack them with a full charge shieldbreaker. I think it does more damage+ knockback than a fully charged fsmash tipper. (correct me if I'm wrong, which I think I am)

And like VietGeek said, it really forces most people to go on the offensive, and really pressures them.

yeah i really like the new sheild breaker and i personally think that if you have time to charge it fully that its a GREAT horizontal recovery.

I don't know if it's stronger than it was in melee, but i've heard shields are weaker in brawl

Though it may not necessarily do more damage, uncharged it does take a pretty huge chunk out of their shield. The shields do have less strength now too though, as I've messed one up pretty nicely with Fox's drill. It is alot faster too. and it helps with recovery. I think they went through the game and made everyone's special moves suck less.

I'm not getting the same "great results" that you guys seem to be getting with the shield breaker. When I hit with it, it might take alittle off their shield but really I don't see it being any larger of a chunk than what would come off with any other hit. Once or twice when I've done it it has worked pretty well though, but I have yet to actually bust someone's shield.
My question is this, does getting a tipper with the shield breaker break more shield?
and on a somewhat ******** note:
How much shield could a shield breaker break if a shield breaker could break shields?

Don't ask.
