Sheik a good 2nd main for fox?

hello, I have always been a Fox main, and alt nearly everyone. I am thinking about using sheik as a second main for matches I do not think my Fox can take. So my question is, is sheik a good character to take care of Fox's harder match ups. In my area nearly EVERYONE plays Falco, or has a good Falco alt. Marth has also been a thorn in my side, so is Sheik a good choice for mainly dealing with these two matches. I AM NOT ASKING FOR ADVICE ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THESE CHARACTERS WITH FOX.

Sheik is ok. Marth has a solid gameplay, and Falco is GOD tier. Peach makes me knuxwalk.

Sounds good. Sheik has a bit of an advantage towards those two. I know it does against Marth at least.

My best Friend is a Fox/Mario alt player lol.
It's a good choice if your serious with it.
Mario is a good fighter for falco lol.

I agree Sheik is a great 2nd to have for Fox sinse she can kill Marths and Jigglypuffs very easily.

...I would also recommend playing with Zelda so that you won’t be completely helpless when you try to recover or switch back.

Just remember Sheik is offence Zelda is defense.

I'd go for Shiek at a 2nd main if going against tough Falco's and Marth's. May want to give Jigs a try if you get a chance though.

Fox does better against Falco than Sheik does, you wouldn't want to play Sheik to try and challenge that match up.

I don't think there's any character at all that counters both Falco and Marth. So if you only want one secondary, then I'd say go with Sheik. You can use her to deal with Marths, and she is also pretty easy to use and she's good in teams. As for dealing with Falco though, you might just want to stay Fox. If a ton of players in your area use Falco, then there are chances you'll learn how to wreck him up good.

IMO Fox can take most matchups better than Sheik can, even for Marth/Falco/Peach.

But I suppose Sheik would be nice to have as a secondary.

Idk if this helps, but my alts are Peach, Sheik, Falco, and Marth in that order. I know they are all high tier and crap, but oh well. Saves me when I have to fight a hard match up.

Yeah. Now that I think about it, you actually might want to consider a low-tier character since not many people play against them as much. Plus, they can be a lot more fun to play with rather than Shiek's d-throw to f-tilt to f-air routine. Try Donkey Kong. He's not bad against fast-fallers (Falco) and I don't think he's that terrible against Marth either. His taunt rules too. Just remember that low-tier characters generally take more practice.

Edit: It seems as though DK does not do well at all against Marth. My bad.

If you're sure that Marth destroys DK, then I suppose just assume I was wrong about that match-up. I just know someone who seems to do quite well against [a particular] Marth with DK by using the f-tilt a lot. It seems to stop a nice amount of Marth's approach.

I will tell you right now, that Marth doesnt suck.

DK can edgeguard Marth decently. Most of Marth's attacks are cancelled by DK's foward tilt. Including Marth's Foward smash and Fair and such, the same can be said of DK's U-tilt.

Marth definitely has the advantage in this match up. But I wouldnt say that Marth destroys DK.

Is that a fact? Nah an opinion....though i wouldn't say so....if you wanted a truly unstoppable combo go Marth and Fox. Marth = chaingrab to death on space animals. That is, with proper use of up-tilts and patience. Also.....Marth with good spacing pretty much destroys any opponent and keeps shiek out of damaging range.
