Every Wednsday, we will be hosting a weekly for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
Cost:
$2 Entry Fee
$5 Tournament Entry
Time Schedule:
Sign-ups start at 12:00 PM
Sign-ups end at 2:45 PM
Bracket starts at 3:00 PM
Close at 6:00PM
RULES
Format:
-Double-Elimination
-2 Stock, 6 Minutes
-All sets Bo3 except WF, LF, and GF
-Doubles are 3 Stock, 8 Minutes
-If a match ends with the successful use of a character’s Self-Destruct move, the player that initiated the Self-Destruct move wins the match regardless of what the results screen states. Self-Destruct moves include only Ganondorf’s Side-B, King Dedede’s Neutral-B, Wario’s Neutral-B, and Kirby’s Neutral-B.
Stages:
Starters
-Battlefield/Miiverse
-Final Destination/Omega Stages
-Smashville
Counterpicks
-Town & City
-Duck Hunt
-Lylat Cruise
-Dreamland
Stage Bans:
-One player bans a stage from the Starters, then the other player strikes another stage and the remaining stage is used to start the match
-You may not chose any stage you won on during the set
-The player who wins gets to ban 2 stages from the stage list
DISCOUNTS
We are very limited by our setups so we are offering a $2 discount for anyone who can bring a Wii U with a Gamecube Adapter and another $2 discount for anyone who can bring a monitor. This is a first-come, first-serve deal as there will not always be space for said setups.
Food:
We recommend that you get food before coming as there are few places nearby. If you leave for food however, be aware of that if your leave disrupts the tournament, you will be DQ'd.
You have 10 minutes once you are called before you lose the set. Be aware that you are responsible for your matches and we will deny payout if you are suspected of throwing a match, splitting a payout, or committing any other form of bracket manipulation.
