Seems Onix has taken to trading himself.

Sorry, I just have to point this oddity out.

I was floating around Victory road, training, and I kept running into a Steelixs.
Now, correct me if i'm wrong, But don't you trade an Onix holding a Metal coat
(Or something like that) and it evolves in Steelix?

Either people are just getting rid of a decent poke'mon, Or Onixes are trading themselves!

I'm used to running into them now, But anyone have any theorys as to WHY you can now find them wild?

Technically they can evolve by sitting in mountains so long that the pressure causes it. I remember some pokedex saying that.

Poke'mon itself is pretty silly, but I still like it.
And I did mention I was sorry for posting this, in case anyone felt it was stupid.
But its just really odd to me.
