Secondary Character?

I will be using Diddy as my main for a long time im sure but every once in a while, you need a break, and I was wondering if anyone could possibly give recs as to characters that may be good to use based off of the tactics Diddy uses? Or just characters you find fun to play, still competitive play BTW. I dont want to play any of the S ranked characters and I dont care for falco for the record
