I started implementing SDI into my game and found out that it is stupidly useful for getting out of combos. Specifically when you're getting juggled or when you know that you're going to get hit again. What is the best SDI to input if you're getting combo'd by Falco? The typical juggle moves that Falco has are shine, up-tilt, dair, and up-air. Should I be trying to SDI down to tech off of platforms and the ground, or should I be trying to SDI left/right to move my character so that it's harder for falco to get the next hit, or should I SDI into a shine, or is there an option I'm missing? lol too bad you can't buffer a shine
As a side note, I found that SDI down works great against marth up-tilt and up-air combos. You'll often reach the ground faster than before, making it harder for them to combo you and it often gives you time to tech/ put up a shield on a platform before they can hit you again.
