SD card glitch

So I just took y SD card out of my wii, and tried to add a couple of texture hacks. The first one copied perfectly, however I got a "not enough free space" error when I tried to drag the second. As a result, I deleted my BBrawl folder to create space. However, even after I deleted the whole folder, the "amount of free space" number didn't change, and I still got the error.

Help?

All I can suggest is backing up what you have on there and re-formatting the card.
Seems to fix 90% of problems like these :3c

You could also try defragmenting your SD card or on some computers like macs what you delete stays on the SD card so next time you plug it in empty you recycling bin and try again. If that doesn't work you can either try to defragment it or go with wiscus's idea, unless there is another reason that I don't know.
