yea we can learn alot from each other. i actually never played any of the metroid games, the first time i played ssbm i played samus and i was like "omg this guy shoots missles!" and i have used her ever since, so i actually dont know much about her in the other games hahaha

p.s we gotta get a tournament going at the nitespot or somewhere!

Eh, F*ck tournaments at friday nights. Keep them friendlies and mock crew battles. If we do tourneys you can be sure i wont compete. I like to play smash for fun not all serious tournament style.

well tournaments are a good things. well atleast for me, because im a reallyy competative person. plus, if we have the four set-ups again, it wouldnt be hard to do the tournament and still have a couple tvs for friendlies.

p.s. evan your right, we could learn alot from eachother. look for me to make far less mistakes next week. my samus has gotten back to where it used to be, and now its getting gradually better. i learned alot of new aproaches, and a bunch of new tricks while i was experamenting. hope to play ya soon man

once again, i think running tournaments would taint a good thing we have going on fridays

i'm not against having tournaments at nitespot, but they should be on top of friday smashing, not in place of it

What about friday night tournaments with no buy-in? Just a tournament for glory that would create a competitive atmosphere with no harm done to the wallet? I figure we hold friendlies from 12 to 5, then around 5:30 (when the most people are there) we hold our mock tournament. This would be similar to our "crew-battles," fun but competitive.
