Hey, this is my first post on here, but I think I just found something worth noting on the Dojo. Forgive me if this in the wrong spot, irrelevant, or already posted somewhere (though I doubt it, since it's so soon).

Does anyone else see anything wrong with that image?

Where is Yoshi's picture? It's really, really transparent, but it's there.

That leads me to think, however...could all of the "screenshots" on the Dojo actually be assembled piece by piece and not actually be in-game shots? To me, it looks like someone forgot to set the opacity setting on Yoshi's picture to 100%. And yet it's fine in this picture:

Once again, this is my first post/topic here, and if I got the rules wrong, I'm sorry. But I think this is noteworthy, because what if ALL of the Dojo's shots are fabricated like this one?

Haven't we found out the pictures blink if your on LCD? =P

Nah, I kid, don't they blink in this when the character takes damage? Which makes no sense seeing as Yoshi is in no situation there to take damage.

The portraits are supposed to do that when they cover up characters to make visibility easier. I'm guessing the spikes are considered important enough that Yoshi's portrait is transparent instead of covering it up as well.

the picture now become transparent when a character is near it. Watch any video from e4all, whobby, japan kiosk, etc.

But Dedede is equally close to both his portrait and Yoshi's, and only Yoshi's is faded out. I'm guessing the spikes have something to do with that.

The pics go transparent when a char is besides them, i assume Triple D touched the spikes and was behind the Yoshi pic, so it became transparent, and now that he's on the other side, the pic is becoming clear again.

Who the hell would want to play on that stage anyway is the more important question?

Oh, okay. I never really paid much attention to the little pictures before, Dedede flying past Yoshi's damage meter makes sense.

Sorry about that, I guess I got a little to excited about discovering a conspiracy theory. :embarrass

Well, if there are spikes in this game I guess it's a good thing Megaman isn't a character after all.

Sometimes I wonder if Diddy Kong killed him in his sleep or something. I miss that little guy.

Spiked Wall Man Confirmed!!!1

Am I the only one who thinks the HUD looks a bit stupid and too solid anyway? Just looking at that screen can show you how much it potentially gets in the way... Dedede's pic is only just a LITTLE transparent. It's cutting off a quarter of his bloody body :-/

EDIT: Donkey Kong Jr = Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong Jr for Brawl = Time Paradox

WW Link and TP Link for Brawl = Time Paradox

SuperLink9 = Eats words.

Well, perhaps the icons don't turn transparent for Dedede, but it's really all about the spikes. I'd be pretty mad if I tried jumping down onto a platform, only to discover it was spikes covered by Yoshi's giant nose.

Then again, I never really had to worry about that stuff in Melee.

Yeah, I imagine created stages *may* make it more awkward. Still, they were more transparant in Melee.

I would love to play on that course!
Stage Builder will be the greatest, because of all the crazy possibilities. I'm gonna make several stupidly hard to K.O. people courses, just to play with friends and see how frustrating it is.
Ahh, it would be awesome to have that in my hands right now
