Saving On Wii or with SD Card?

Hi guys,

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum but didn't know where I should put this...anyways, here goes. I play SSBM on my Wii but unfortunately do not have a memory card. I do have a SD card though and have been trying to figure out how to save my progress on it to no avail.

So, my question is, can I save the stuff I unlock, such as characters, on the actual Wii console or on the SD card? If so, how? I really am getting sick of having to unlock all the characters over and over.

Neither. You have to use a GC memory card.
