Well, they would have two different Final Smashes... so at least they wouldn't be uber-clones.

But his basic moveset I couldn't imagine changing. Paper Mario would obviously replace him, anyway.

Doc may play different from Mario, but he isn't his own character, so he shouldn't be given his own character slot. Just give Mario Doc's better moves.

I don't know ANYONE who actually likes Dr. Mario as a character. If there's something about his personality that makes him worthy of keeping his spot, then I'd love to hear it.

Doc does not have to go. I grew up with him. I love the character.

Mario = n00b; he doesn't deserve to take Dr. Mario's better moves. Doc isn't the standard. Mario is.

Oh, and Doc could just seize Paper Mari and tear him in half--or use him as his new Super Sheet.

Everyone who wants Doc as a standalone character doesn't know what they're talking about.
They're barely different at all in Melee. There was almost no difference at all, and what was different wasn't at all signifigant.

Mario should play like doc plays in Melee, and should have a doc costume. Also, Doc costume should make the fireballs look like pills.
