Might wanna rethink the date. The next triweekly is scheduled to be either the 21st or the 28th, and if it's on the 28th you won't get much of a turnout for this, since it'll be competing with San Diego's biggest tournament.

Also, 4PM is really late to start a tournament. The average triweekly goes somewhere between 6-8 hours, give or take. That said, that's with about 70-80 people, but most people want their tournaments to start around noon-ish.

EDIT: Also, 50/30/10 pot split leaves 10%. Where's that extra 10% going to?

I'd love to attend since that place is only about 5min away from where I live, but it'll be hard to get a good turnout on that date since most smash players in SD will go to Triweekly XIV. And if you start at 4pm your tourney will probably end pretty **** late.

The tri weekly is definitely not on the 28th. That' Nexus tournament, too big of a tournament to conflict with. 21 is possible.

We are new to the smash bros scene.
I need to reschedule this Tourney, didn't mean to step on anyone's feet or anything.

We've been doing streetfighter tournaments and jumped on to smash bros because of EVO coming around the corner.

Didn't know this game is that huge.

oh, Saint Patrick, the 10% goes to the Lan Center.

Ok, we are going to do this on April 28th anyways. As big as Nexus is, there will probably be some smash players that can't make it all the way to NEXUS.

We will have two TVs setup for the tourney.

You know smashers usually bring TV and Cube setups to tourney's + smashfests. 2 TVs isn't nearly enough, plus most smashers like to play a lot of friendlies.

Yeah, there will need to be more than 2 TVs if you want it to run smoothly, and keep everyone happy with friendlies.

The thing about playing on plasmas for a lot of us is the fear of lag between execution of moves and it actually happening, so average sized TVs are probably the way to go. Unless for finals or something the combatants wanna wow everyone on that lol.

Plasmas are a NO GO. High def TVs lag smash, and plasmas are the worst.
