Smash Ace
Hey everyone I am starting a Samus Missile Guide so everything about missile can be found in one easy spot. I will update front page when more info becomes available and will add videos of things discussed.
To begin the missiles
Homing- 5 damage initially then drops to 4 then 3 with stale moves. Homes in on enemies. Good times to use: Put pressure on enemies shields, set-up edge guards, and for approaches.
Smash- 10 damage initially then drops to 7 then 3 with stale moves. Comes out slower then homing missiles but moves faster and flies in straight path. Good times to use: to pressure enemies and for approaches.
Missile Canceling- yes it is still in. You can do smash missile in a short hop fire missile right before you land. Have to have good timing or difficult to hit smaller characters ie Game and Watch, Kirby and such.
Homing Missile Canceling- very effective from my short experience with game good for approaching. You can spam homing missiles then change up and use a zair strategy is good approach spacing move.
Duel Homing Missile in full jump- Do a full jump fire homing missile on way up fire 2nd after animation ends and before you land.
Triple Missile-Short hop then homing missile full jump either homing or smash then homing when land. You are able to fire smash if fire homing at top rather then smash. So end result should be 3 homing missiles or 2 homing 1 smash. That is what I have been able to do.

platform missile-canceling is possible with quick double jumping, but its rarely useful
BTW, you can tripile smash missile, its just hard as hell. Right when you see you have full hopped, IMMEDIATELY press smash missile, jump smash missile, and smash missile again. If i can record eventually, i will make a video of that.
