I noticed the advanced Samus players (hylian, Hugs etc) use alot of jumping attacks including a couple I can't pull off. In one vid someone was missle cancelling with what looked like a sh flip is this possible? also I noticed they use a forward dash to back flip mc combo alot are these faster than regular sh mc moves? any tips on how to pull em off?

A great conversation filler at bars and parties
It's just the animation from a backwards jump. If you jump forwards, Samus won't flip. If you jump backwards, Samus will flip. There's not much difference other than being an ever so slightly smaller target. This is not any faster than a normal mc. It's not even advanced. Missile canceling was a technique in melee... after 7 years, it's hardly a technique. It's more like the norm.

hylian hardly uses samus anymore. hes IC and game and watch now...

Glad I could help.
I knew Hylian was using other chars, didn't realize he was maining them more though since I don't check the other character boards much. He still helped us a lot though.
