Yeah, people keep saying that some characters have a better chance because they've been on Sora's poll, where is this poll? who was on it? link? I'm talking about one that people say Diddy Geno came tied in second and i forget the rest. If you don't know a link, can someone tell me like the top 10 or something? heh, i've just been interested in who he's taken the most noticed to. (Don't mind if this gets locked after i get some info, but using the search button was pointless since everyone references to the poll.)

Can anyone tell me about it?

Well, when SSBB first came out there was a page on the Japanese site where you could submit requests for character and music to be in SSBB. Each week, up to a certain date, Mr. Sakurai would pick ten letters and post them and would respond to one of them with a humorous remark or little bits of game info.

All the characters listed are in the first post of this thread (first are links to pictures of all of them and then the ranking of how many times each character was mentioned):
