True potential of Smash...
Yeah, I knew it. I knew the 3DS version was an incomplete game!
The Wii U version is for REAL!
...but I hope its something we're expecting. We know Sakurai's not telling every truths lately as being too vague and stuffs.
Not to mention people now these days don't trust him anymore.
I don't really think the 3DS version is an incomplete game. It is a portable game, it does its job well: Smash on the go. It could have been better? Yes, of course it could have, but for being the very first Smash Bros for a handheld device, it is a great game, being better than most if not all previous titles in the series.
It is obvious that the Wii U version will have more modes and content (I don't think anyone in their right minds doubted that), which means it will be better when compared to the 3DS version. That being said, only a fool would compare both versions of Smash 4, because they aren't comparable at all. They serve completely different purposes, after all. In the end, the 3DS version still offers something the Wii U version can't offer, even if it is the "worse" version: Portability.
Anyways, if Sakurai's statement means DLC, I only hope they don't overdo it. Two to five DLC characters would be great, but more than that would be awful. On the other hand, I expect (hope) for tons and tons of DLC stages (and music, if possible!). Please Sakurambo!
