Listed down below are the kill percents for Ryu’s True Shoryuken (also known as TSRK), one of the best kill moves in the game of Smash 4. To perform TSRK, you must input the following actions: Forward -> Down -> Down-Forward and then press A or B. This move kills ~20% earlier than the regular Up + B motion and is crucial to Ryu in the current metagame.
Each character’s death percents were tested in training mode, with the CPU set to “Control” so directional influence (also known as DI) could be inputted by my partner. Credits to @ACTEight for the help. Due to it being training mode, every TSRK that was performed was fresh and there was NO rage when testing. This is VERY important to note because rage and staling can heavily affect the kill percentages within a game. Avoid using TSRK until you can combo into it in order to keep it fresh and perfect for when you really need it. As a guide, 100% rage allows you to kill around 15% earlier than normal. 150% rage allows you to kill ~25% earlier than normal, which is a huge boon for us. Try and live for as long as possible so TSRK is even more useful.
Every character within the roster was tested on three stages. These were Battlefield, Final Destination and Town & City. These three stages are all currently legal within the 7-stage format that most of Smash 4 currently finds themselves in. I have provided information for the majority, and testing percentages on stages such as Delfino Plaza and Castle Siege were simply not worth it. For those wondering as to why the percentages weren’t tested on Smashville, Dreamland, Lylat Cruise and Duck Hunt, it is because these stages have the exact same ceiling data as Final Destination which therefore meant there was no point. Furthermore, with the possible legality of the Umbra Clock Tower stage in certain areas, I tested the kill percentages on every character and it has the same ceiling as Battlefield, with the exception of the small dimple in the stage (located exactly where the clock is) which increased the kill percentages by 1.
In regards to DI, the best DI input for TSRK is AWAY from Ryu. For example, if Ryu is facing left (or West), the best DI is to also input the control stick West. This was also tested on every character (compared to ALL other DI inputs) and was found to be true.
P.S. The list is in a A-Z order. I suggest you use CTRL+F to find the character that you need.
