Run and Gun: Should it be extended beyond items?

For anybody who hasn't checked the latest update, it's about the ability to move and shoot at the same time using the superscope and other such items.

Now my thought is, how about putting it in for normal character moves? It would have to be a forward+B projectile, and you certainly wouldn't want to give it to fox and sheik, but slow characters, who by their very nature tend to be low on the tier list, could gain a unique competitive advantage if they were launching projectiles on their way in, much like a lot of falco players do with their short hopped laser, although it would usually be easier.

If they do that it should be for everyone, but than that can also screw things up, like Shiek could use her Chain while dashing, Fox wouldn't have an illusion attack...

I fully agree it would be kinda weird to sometimes shott and sometimes do the illusion but it was a good idea .

You wouldn't have to do it for everyone. If one character can jump six times and another can only jump twice, one character can move while firing when another can't.

It would also depend on which B action the projectile is. Only the forward B could really make use of this.

Maybe it's similar to A attacks where running and pressing B will have you use the regular B (namely Fox's blaster or Samus' blaster) standing and tapping forward and B will do the -->B attack. It would be just like comparing a forward A and a running A. But some shooting weapons probably don't let you run at the same time (link's and pit's bows).

It could even create the potential of an attack having a different effect whether you're running or not. An example would be when running, samus' blaster will fire small blasts at around falco's blaster's speed; while standing would let you do the charged shot.

wonder if the inf scope glitch will stay.. i hope so. It was fun and Id like to see a black hole in SSBB

I doubt the black hole will be in, as it's a glitch. Though I did enjoy playing unlimited "pain"tball with my buddies.

I just want link to be able to walk, even slowly, while firing arrows. It might make them usable.

Just allow the player to start walking after he starts charging.
