Hey everyone! Just like with the weight thread, I'm making this thread to detail the changes in run and air speed in Ultimate.

Overall, there was a general buff to both run and air speed. Not everyone, but most people received buffs to both run an air speed

And ironically neither got any buffs to their air speed.

Not sure how I feel about Mac and Lucario having such a huge air speed boost... where Pit doesn't get anything. At least Palutena got a boost.

I think you miscalculated DDD's air speed buff. It is 0.63 to 0.735, an increase of 16.6666%

Not yet.
For now, assume the same multipliers as Smash 4.

1.5x air speed for Jump
1.7x run speed and 1.3x air speed for Speed
.67x run speed and air speed for Shield
Normal for Buster and Smash

Roy and Wolf are both quite fast in the air; this game keeps getting better for the characters I enjoy.

Did Roy’s air speed get buffed or did others’ get nerfed? Because I remember him only having the sixth fastest air speed, now he has the fourth.

Roy had the 4th fastest air speed in Smash 4, only behind Yoshi, Jigglypuff, and Mewtwo. He got an increase of 5%, like most characters did.

We also don't have the exact data for Cloud Limit Break yet, so assume the same increases as in Smash 4.
