Ugh, I hated this stage in Melee. I don't see myself playing it very often...

As much as I hate to admit it, another Battlefield/FD clone would have been better than this.

Battlefield and FD are returning stages.

Looks cool. I agree with everyone on the fact that it looks like they fixed the Ice Climber's stage from Melee.

I am interested about what's up the top, though. I'm personally expecting DK series cameos, or something along those lines.

Since they have ladder climbing now.. do you guys think we'll be able to swim this time too, and even perform moves while swimming?

Looks like a party thing... looks fun.. Though I was never a fan of the Ice Climbers stage since.. I guess I wasn't very good at jumping so... I would fall a lot and die from not being able to jump fast enough Meh.

The stage does look remarkable though.

Wow..I'm surprised nobody has gone crazy over Sakurai's last little comment yet! Usually when Sakurai starts saying stuff like that we get 60 page arguments on clouds!

Glad we're focusing on the actual stage instead of what might be at the top.

IMO you can't really tell if this is going to have a Rainbow Ride sort of feel since the beanstalk type thing we see in the last picture could theoretically just keep going up, and the waterfall and stuff in the first two pics could be just the start of the level (even if it's very unlikely). Like I said, you can't really tell until you play the stage for yourself....

...I love how with every update Sakurai brings more questions...lol.

It looks like the new version of the Ice Climbers stage - does this mean our beloved Popo and Nana have roamed the field?
The ladders seem to be a nice addition though, and I wonder if you are able to fight while you're on a ladder.
And what are those orange button-like things?

The stage LOOKS nice and the addition of climbing ladders looks cool, BUT it does look like an updated of Ice Climber's stage, my LEAST favorite stage, so I'm not that crazy for this one. In a positive not, it looks very nice :D

They keep talking about "at the top". So I would think this stage stops moving somewhere, right?

Besides being sort of a rip of the Ice Climber's level, this actually looks better. First of all, it's prettier looking, second of all, the platforms are placed better and thirdly, there are actually traps and cool things. Now, I hope it stops from time to time to let us fight in one area and admire the look of the stage, because this is one of the prettier stages. Also, is anyone else reminded of the original Donkey Kong with this stage, as in you have to climb to the top and stuff with latters? It'd be fun if you played this mode Mario vs Donkey with items on low / medium with only the hammer as a usable weapon.

This reminds me of a dream I had which was a SSB sequel, A stage similar to Ice Climber except inside of a tree (I believe based on Wario Land 3's Out of the Woods stage).

maybe the ladders are a reference to the original donkey kong seeing as marios climbing the ladders to get to the top lol
