Okay, I know I made one blog 10 hours ago, and I was suppose to wait 30 more minutes for my mental clock, but I couldn't help it...

Apparently, nobody knows about the awesome video game I'm currently into, Okage: Shadow King. A pretty cool game it is, indeed.

The game, in case you're wondering, is about a young boy named Ari. Now, he isn't your usual hero; He's an overshadowed boy. And being overshadowed is what gets him into trouble. One night, his little sister, Annie, becomes under the curse of Pig Latin, and there is only one way to rescue her. That is by summoning the spirit of a strange bottle Ari's father found.

The bottle produces an Evil servant named James, who then tells Ari's family how an Evil King, named Stanley Hihat Trinidad XIV, Stan for short, can help Annie, but here's the hitch- Someone will have to become Stan's slave, servant, and follower.

A contest happens, and Ari is the unfortunate winner, due to being overshadowed, as mentioned before. And, Ari's shadow is now haunted by the Evil King. The next day, the two find out how there were "Fake Evil Kings" who stole Stan's power. After this, Ari has been forced to embark on a quest, fighting evil for the sake of a comic-relief brand of evil.

Now, the two in my signature and avatar happen to be Ari and Stan. This game, in my opinion, is just awesome, and....well...I'm currently on a mission to save it from having a "packed with fangirls, literally" sequel. >.>;;

But, story and everything put aside...isn't there at least someone who has at least heard about it...?

Considering that I introduced you into the whole SWF game about a week ago, there is something worth mentioning, which I mentioned in my post ironically enough, and that is this:

I’d like to start by talking a bit about how this place will be run. People have been prone to complaining about the spam/lack of intelligence etc. in this place. Well, here’s something to keep in mind. Blogs are a personal thing, they are your blogs. In light of this, there will be an extremely hands off approach to moderating the content of a blog post unless it breaches Global Rules.

I'd like to point out he is not breaching Global Rules, therefore doing no wrong by posting this blog.

I looked into this game last night, and after realizing it's a PS2 game, trashed the idea of me ever playing it, due to me not owning one. I did read the entire plot summary on Wikipedia though. Sounds kind of like a strange Mother game, so I think I'd enjoy it.

Okay, a quick question though: Does that mean that all blogs of all kinds are permitted (provided they don't breach the GR), though said content of the blogs would be better suited for another place on the site?

(I am only asking as a point of clarification).

Anything not against Global Rules is legit here. UB content is really meant to be user controlled. It's a personal thing so we can't be there policing what you want to talk about in your personal journal unless it breaches the rules of the site.

The only exception to this is the discussion of SWF Policy/complaints about other members and staff.

Replies, however, I take a much more hands on approach towards when moderating. Hope that cleared it up somewhat.

I've played this game before. I was really young and I didn't remember much about the game. All I remember was getting stuck trying to find a place to go and there being a devil shadow or something. And my brother wanting to change his name to that of the main character. Silly younger brothers.

Holy crap I have to get this game now.
